Visit to ABACC by Counselor Jihoon Kim, diplomat of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea

On December 9, 2025, Counselor Jihoon Kim, accompanied by members of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, visited ABACC’s headquarters, highlighting the existing cooperation between the agency and KINAC (Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control).

The delegation was received by the Deputy Secretary, Mr. Marco Marzo, and ABACC officers. The participants discussed the institutional structure of ABACC and its relationship with the IAEA, institutional transparency, governance, among other topics.

At the end, the Deputy Secretary gave a presentation on the process of ABACC’s creation and the verification activities carried out in both countries.
