Seminar "50 Years of the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons: Statements and Perspectives"

On March 6, Dr. Marco Marzo, Secretary of ABACC, participated as a speaker at the seminar “50 Years of the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons: Statements and Perspectives”. The event was carried out by the Ministry of Defense through the Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos em Defesa (IBED), in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) and the Fernando Henrique Cardoso Foundation (FFHC). The opening plenary was attended by former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso, State Ministers Mr. Raul Jungmann, Army General Sérgio Ethgoyen and the Ambassador Marcos Galvão. The seminar had two thematic panels: 1) Autonomy and International Cooperation in the Nuclear Domain; and 2) The NPT and International Security. The discussions were held with government authorities, ambassadors and academics.
