Participation of ABACC in the “Regional Training Course on State Systems of Accounting and Control of Nuclear Material” (RTC – SSAC)
April 17 to 28, 2023, in Buenos Aires, the “Regional Training Course on State Systems of Accounting and Control of Nuclear Material” will be held, organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the government of the Argentine Republic, through the Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ARN).
The objective of the course is to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy by providing basic knowledge to the 33 participants with basic knowledge about the non-proliferation regime and the techniques necessary for the accounting and control of nuclear materials by the competent bodies.
6 ABACC officials are participating as speakers, presenting topics such as the ABACC regional model, accounting audit, physical verification activities and demonstration of containment, surveillance and measurement equipment, among others.
