NNSA delegation – DoE visits ABACC
During the visit of Mr. Kevin Veal, Director of the NNSA Office of International Nuclear Safeguards, and his delegation, Mr. Bob Swartz and Mrs. Ruth Smith, a meeting was held between ABACC and DoE on the status of ABACC-DOE collaboration as well as a visit to the facilities of our agency, with particular emphasis on the Area of Technical Support.
As a highlight, the DoE performed a brief presentation of its organization and it was reviewed the participation of the laboratories that are part of the ABACC Network in intercomparison exercises.
