Director of the Radioprotection and Nuclear Safety Directorate (DRS/CNEN) and Advisor visit ABACC

On January 19, 2024, ABACC received a visit from the Director of Radioprotection and Nuclear Safety of the National Nuclear Energy Commission (DRS/CNEN), dr. Alessandro Facure, and the Board’s advisor, Dr. Ricardo Guterres.

On that occasion, Dr. Marco Marzo gave a presentation in which he described the Agency’s creation process, its structure, the verification activities carried out in both countries and future challenges. A visit was made to ABACC’s technical units.
