ABACC will attend the International Seminar South America in the Nuclear Age: Risks, Challenges and Prospects
On August 20 and 21 the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs will hold the International Seminar on South America in the Nuclear Age: Risks, Challenges and Perspectives. It will be debated the role the South American countries in the face of the global context of combating the proliferation of nuclear weapons. The event will bring together authorities, diplomats, researchers and representatives of major international organizations related to the theme.
The Secretary of ABACC will participate as a lecturer in the session on Contribution of regional and sub regional bodies to ensure the absence of weapons of mass destruction and confidence-building: global and regional consequences of nuclear detonations.
