ABACC receives delegation from the Brookhaven National Laboratory
From March 19 to 22, ABACC received the visit of Mrs. Susan Pepper, head of the Department of Nonproliferation and Physical Security at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, and her advisers Ms. Katherine Bachner and Mr. Noel Blackburn. The main objective of the visit was to exchange opportunities for cooperation with Brazilian institutions on topics of common interest.
The delegation had meetings with members of ABACC and also visited the CNEN headquarters, the Institute of Nuclear Engineering (IEN/CNEN) and the Nuclear Engineering Program of UFRJ. At these meetings there was the opportunity to present the activities carried out by BNL, ABACC and Brazilian institutions. During these meetings, there was the opportunity to be presented the activities developed by BNL, ABACC and Brazilian institutions.
