ABACC participates in the “Summer School: Nuclear Disarmament and Non-proliferation”
The Secretariat of ABACC has been invited to participate in the “Summer School: Nuclear Disarmament and Non-proliferation”, to be held between July 10 to 14, in Mexico City.
Sergio Solmesky, assistant secretary of ABACC, will deliver a presentation entitled “Regional Safeguards Arrangement: Brazilian-Argentine Agency for Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials”.
This course is promoted by the Government of Mexico with the support of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, the Instituto Matías Romero and the Agency for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean – OPANAL.
The course is aimed at diplomats from Latin America and the Caribbean and will have speakers from the academic area, government and civil society.
