ABACC invited to participate in the Seminar “Towards a world without nuclear weapons: challenges and perspectives”
From December 7 to 8, the seminar “Towards a world without nuclear weapons: challenges and perspectives” was held at the Itamaraty Palace, Brasília. Dr. Marco Marzo, Secretary of ABACC, Engineer Sergio Solmesky, Deputy Secretary, and Dr. Maria Cristina Lourenço, Institutional Relations Officer, participated on the event. The seminar consisted of three sessions, among them “ABACC and the IAEA verification regime”. The purpose of the meeting was to promote a broad debate among government officials, members of academia, think-tanks, civil society, and non-governmental organizations on current issues relating to the global nuclear regime.
