ABACC at the 59th Annual Meeting of INMM
The 59th Annual Meeting of the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) was held in Baltimore, United States, July 22-26.
ABACC attended the annual meeting of the International Safeguards Division of INMM, contributing to the definition of the future activities of the Division.
The Technical Support, Operations and Planning and Evaluation Officers presented the papers “Experience on Implementing Remote Transmission of the State of Health (SOH) of Surveillance Systems Applied to Nuclear Reactors in Brazil and Argentina” and “Nuclear Material Measurements at ABACC – Update and Future” and shared the advances in the validation of the ABACC-Cristallini UF6 Sampling Method.
ABACC was invited to participate in the closing plenary meeting to identify future challenges for the nuclear non-proliferation and the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. ABACC also attended the meeting of the ANSI N15 Technical Standards Committee.
