67 years of the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN)
On November 10, 2023, at the headquarters of CNEN, representatives of ABACC participated in the ceremony commemorating the 67th anniversary of the creation of the CNEN, which was attended by authorities and representatives of the Brazilian nuclear sector.
The event was chaired by the president of the CNEN, Mr. Francisco Rondinelli Junior, and by the
Directors of Radiation Protection and Nuclear Security, Mr. Alessandro Facure, Research and Development, Mr. Wilson Calvo, and Institutional Management, Mr. Pedro Mafia.
On that occasion, Mr. Rondinelli a proposal for a nuclear agenda designed for the decade 2025-2035, which includes, among others, the conclusion of Angra 3, the implementation of the Brazilian Multipurpose Reactor (RMB) and the National Nuclear Security Authority (ANSN).
