Lecture at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (EPUSP)

On May 26, 2025, Dr. Marco Marzo, Deputy Secretary, gave a lecture entitled “The Situation of Nuclear Safeguards in the World and in Brazil”, at the invitation of the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials (PMT) of EPUSP. He addressed the origin of nuclear safeguards, accounting and control of nuclear materials, the elements of the nuclear non-proliferation regime, the current status of safeguards agreements and Brazil’s safeguards agreements, among other topics. He also included a brief report on ABACC.
