17th Meeting of the Liaison Committee of the Quadripartite Safeguards Agreement
The Liaison Committee of the Agreement between the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Brazilian and Argentinean Agency for Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials (ABACC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the Application of Safeguards – Quadripartite Agreement, meets annually to review the status of the implementation of this Agreement, including the coordination arrangements between Agencies.
The 17th Liaison Committee Meeting was held on October 24 in Rio de Janeiro and coordinated by ABACC.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Authorities, Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Argentina and Brazil, as well as representatives of the IAEA and ABACC.
